हर धर्म में अपने अपने इष्ट देवकी उपासनाके लिए कोई न कोई मंत्र, दोहे या चमत्कारी  उक्तियाँ निश्चित रूप से विद्यमान है । अपने अपने तरीकेसे  उपासना हेतु केवल आस्था पर्याप्त है। 

अब चमत्कारकी बातें छोड़ें तो इतना तो मैं अवश्य कहूंगा की गायत्री  मंत्र उस ऊर्जा को  एक  सरल आवाहन है जो हर दिन दृश्यमान है, प्रभात में  उगता हुआ, दिन में आकाश में विहार करता हुआ, सांध्य के समय डूबता हुआ, सर्व जीव मात्र को; चाहे वह किसी भी धर्म का हो। पूरी सूर्यमाला में यही मूलतः शक्ति का स्वरूप है।  संध्या के समय डूबता दिखने वाला सूर्य कहीं न कहीं पश्चिम में उगता है। यानी की यह दैवी शक्ति पृथ्वी पर सभी लोगों के लिए हर घड़ी ऊर्जा प्रदान करती  है।  

तो आप सुने गायत्री मंत्र को- जो मैंने मेरे प्रथम तरंग पे, सरल भजनके ठेके में, और कोई अतिरिक्त वाद्य के बिना,  बजाया है।  रेकॉर्डिंग के समय कुछ  बाहरी आवाजें अनजाने में आ गएँ हैं उसके लिए आप जैसे सहृद्य गुणीजन कृपया मुझे क्षमा कर दें।

Gayatri Mantra – an invocation to a deity that is visible

All religions are full of couplets, shlokas, mantras, magic line to invoke their Gods. One needs to have faith to invoke the God that they believe in. 

Leaving aside the magical powers for a while I find that the Gayatri mantra is a simple invocation to a worshipable deity that is visible to all, every day, to whichever faith one belongs to. There cannot be a greater source of energy for the solar system than the Sun itself, rising in front our eyes, sailing magnificently in the sky through the day, appearing to set in the evening, but gradually rising for the people further west of you. It never really sets.

Here is the Gayatri mantra that I have played on my Pratham Tarang, set to simple bhajan style beats, sans orchestration. 

You may pardon me for the other sounds sneaking into the recording.  Hope it will not really distract discerning listeners like you.
