Dealing with sermonisers

Occasionally, I do enjoy a cup of expensive coffee at the Starbucks – do you get me?

Here is my previous blog.

Sometimes I marvel at the wide-eyed readers/ listeners of my write ups / music who are itching to put me at a higher celestial pedestal. Only a grossly ignorant moron will expect me to write / play for my ‘own joy, ( निजानंद).

There is an amazing array of social media marvels to parade your creations to a wider readership / audiences. It is downright a  sacrilege  to keep reiterating that I write / play ONLY for my enjoyment. Eyeing a larger readership/ audience is not only human but natural. I could very well write something and keep it to myself, play some piece and let it rot in the hard disc of my laptop.

Even the much touted innocent child expectantly looks at his mother for some encouragement.

Ayn Rand’s philosophy, Objectivism, begins by embracing the basic fact that existence exists. Reality is, and in the quest to live we must discover reality’s nature and learn to act successfully in it. To exist is to be something, to possess a specific identity.   In objectivism philosophy, the four main pillars are objective reality, absolute reason, self-interest, and laissez-faire capitalism.

Self-interest is not a crime per se except when it is pursued at the expense of a large body of humanity. At tandem with the interest and joy of a large body of humanity is it an ideal pursuit. So, the next time you read my blog or open my YouTube creation, avoid sermonising me by writing back, to stay selfless, detached.

Yes, I should not be obsessed with likes / comments like the character of my short story ‘Facebook Story’ where she degenerates into a zombie because of her obsession.   So, along with the joy of my creation please put a smile on my face, if you can ,and help me elevate my skills to a higher level, if not to celestial levels.
